My name is Dean and I’m originally from Melbourne, Australia. I am now living in Sacramento, CA after meeting my wife who is born and raised in sac.

During my teenager years i was massively into AFI and other bands such as: Anti-flag, Alexisonfire, Underoath, Saosin, Norma Jean, Funeral for a Friend, Taking Back Sunday, The Misfits…The list goes on for a long time.
I spent a lot of time during this period of my life collecting cd’s/vinyl and going to gigs.

Although my music taste has become a lot broader since my teenage years, there is still a lot of love and sentiment when it comes to AFI and all the bands i used to listen to on a daily basis.
I’m more of a fan of their older music with my favourite songs in no particular order being: The Prayer Position, Let It Be Broke, Total Immortal, The Last Kiss, A Single Second, Cruise Control, Weathered Tome, The Boy Who Destroyed the World, Third Season, Days of The Phoniex, Morningstar, God Called In Sick Today
I dont consider Sing the Sorrow being part of their older stuff, but it is easily my favourite AFI album. Still to this day, it would be my most listened to album of all time.

I’ve loved reading through all the different topics on here and it has brought back a lot of nostalgia, memories and feelings of why i loved AFI.
