Hello, random profile viewer! I live in Melbourne, Australia with my partner and our five pets. We have three bearded dragons (one of them, Paarthurnax, is my profile pic. She’s a diva) and two black-headed monitors.

I hold a Bachelor of Forensic Science with First Class Honours. The research undertaken in my Honours project earned me a co-authorship on a paper with my old supervisor, so I can honestly claim to be a published genetecist

After abandoning a cluster_eff_ of a failed PhD project (long story, but it was through no fault of mine) at the very beginning of 2019, I’m currently working part-time in a retail job, and also working in the DNA labs at Melbourne Museum as a specialist volunteer.

I’ve been a diehard fan of AFI since the 5th of May 2007, and a DF member since mid '07. I also quite enjoy Blaqk Audio. Other bands/artists I really love are Disturbed, Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation, The Tea Party, and P!nk to name a few.

Outside of music, I can talk endlessly about anything Rhett and Link. I’m also quite fond of Tim Minchin. Other interests include games (video, board and tabletop), crafty hobbies (many and varied), and reptiles.
