I’m a freelance artist. I make paintings, illustrations, I do screen printing.
It seems like life keep kicking me out! My friend ended our friendship, and the leader of this class for becoming a Peer Support Specialist said I was arguing with him and was spacing out and that the class wasn’t the right fit for me. Fuck 9-5 jobs! I’m going to be a solo artist, since that’s where my existence is nudging me. Yes! I will win!
I’m a Peer Support Specialist for a company that gets people off the streets and into rehabs and transitional housing. I had a couple of instances where I wasn’t following the dress code, and I hope I continue to work there without getting fired.
It’s a giant step for me because my last paying job was in 2006. I volunteered after that and have finally put my BS in Psychology to use with this new job.
This sounds awesome - congratulations on the new job!
After 7 mos of job searching and one job that fell through, I now volunteer for PAWSH, a branch of The Humane Society. Nothing’s better than playing for kitties and puppies!
I work two days at a witchcraft shop and im in between real jobs, im thinking about streaming on twitch as well
I work for a social care charity doing database stuff. Didn’t really matter what charity I worked for when I figured out what I wanted to do in the end, but it’s good to contribute towards helping people.
Took a break, went to school, taking a semester off from school, back at volunteering.
