Greek soul-matches in Twisted Tongues and Far Too Near

I couldn’t help but notice Greek mythology, in it a reworking of consorts, in “Twisted Tongues” and “Far Too Near”. Instead of Zeus and Hera, in “Twisted Tongues”, we see Zeus (the lightning bolts) and the reference to speaking in tongues, which is Hecate’s specialty.

In “Far too Near”, we see a mirror, which is a symbol of Nyx, and the sunset-colored disc, which could be a reference to Jupiter. This needed reworking so the mess of Rhea, Jupiter, and Saturn don’t come back.

very interesting take. i am hearing and seeing it all over this album now.
