If my wife and I were still living at her Mom’s house… then yes, I could do these things because there’s no mortgage, no sewer, no trash bills, etc.
There comes a point with collecting that you have to make a decision and learn from your mistakes. Ten years ago I probably wouldn’t been able to pass up on AFI anniversary shirts… nowadays, I have a decision to make and it’s from wisdom.
The feeling of not being able to save, want, want, want, etc is effing scary… it makes you feel like you’re addicted.
