I donā€™t remember how much that LP box set was but for that $ it better have the pendant.

Heck, it mightve been $100ā€¦ I canā€™t remember.

Completely unrelated, but can bands please stop packaging things in velvet? Itā€™s a great concept, but so hard to keep dust off of. My poor Black Parade box set. Itā€™s more white than black velvet after 10 years of ownership.

And, yeah, $270 without the pendant? That seems steep.

Wow, great call. Yeah I donā€™t agree with the velvet either. I actually have mine wrapped with a large sweater I no longer wear, so Iā€™d like to think Iā€™ve been preserving mine for years now.

It seems the grey repress of that box set is much more elusive. I figured if people would be selling any of them it would be the boring grey as they are dime a dozen on any release right now, but unfortunately clear is the only ones that have been popping up in months.

So, how many pressings were there? I thought there was only two? The first and then a re-release. I also doubt many of them (for sale) have that ā€œCongratulationsā€ card that came with mine. I got that in the before before receiving the boxed set.

I feel the same wayā€¦ I donā€™t like handling mine at all. I feel like every single time I handle the velvet to open it up and look at it, Iā€™m dropping mins, hrs, days off of its life. lolā€¦

Bands can choose any material other than velvet, anything, just never velvet. Itā€™s so hard to care for. :frowning:

I would just like to share my momentary elation over the fact that I got Decemberunderground on vinyl SEALED. I already have the fancy box set, but I kind of wanted the regular version.

That box set is a terrible way to listen to the album. I listened to it once and got tired of having to switch sides after one track. Now it just sits on my shelf.
